2020 Round-Up

2020 has been a year like no other but we wanted to celebrate and look back on what our Dundas Men have been up to in 2020!

February 2020 - WILD PLACES & A LITTLE ADRENALINE

We caught up with Dundas Man Harry Hastings to talk all things adventure, exploration and realising his dreams through the business he founded, Plan South America. Harry has been exploring South America since 2006, so if there is anything you need to know about the continent he's your man.

March 2020 - BALANCE, RHYTHM & TACTICS

Dundas Man and jockey, Sam Waley-Cohen won the hugely prestigious King George VI Chase, and then two months later, became the first amateur jockey for 30 years to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Couple this with flying helicopters, climbing mountains, running marathons and being at the helm of Portman Dental, Sam has an insatiable thirst for life. We caught up with Sam at home in Fulham to talk about all things adrenalin, focus and exhilaration.

May 2020 - WALKING WITH ELEPHANTS

Back in May 2020 we saw Dundas Man, British Army Officer, explorer and linen lover, Major Levison Wood face his biggest challenge yet. “Walking with Elephants” followed Levison along with his guide Kane, follow the route taken by the male elephants through the vast salt pans of the Makgadikgadi through to the edge of the Okavango Delta in Botswana.

July 2020 - THE ADVENTURE ISN'T OVER

In the summer we met Cayle Royce MBE. Having spent 10 years in the military during which he lost both his legs above the knee, has proved that with a desire to explore and endless determination anything is possible. He holds the title as the first double amputee to row an ocean more than once, alongside being the first and fastest amputee to fly a paramotor from John o’Groats to Lands End.

October 2020 - EXTREME CHALLENGES ARE VEHICLES FOR EXPERIENCING THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Dundas Man, travel journalist and broadcaster Simon Parker well and truly made the most of what was possible, travel wise this year, with his latest project completed in October - Britain By Bike.

What a year - Thank you to all our Dundas Men and all our faithful customers - we are so grateful for the support, love (and orders) we’ve received from you. So thank you! Let's see what 2021's got for us...
